A concert featuring music from Final Fantasy XV will be streamed live from London’s famous Abbey Road Studios on Wednesday, September 7, Square Enix has announced.
The stream will begin at 7pm BST – just one hour before PlayStation Meeting gets underway in New York – with details on how to tune in set to be shared closer to the event. For a chance to be there in person, though, Abbey Road is currently running a competition giving away 10 pairs of tickets. Head through the link to check it out.
The concert will feature live performances of songs from the game’s soundtrack by the London Philharmonic Orchestra, with composer also Yoko Shimomura set to make an appearance.
“With so many iconic recordings taking place here over the years, performing the music for Final Fantasy XV in the very same recording studio is a huge honour for me and for everyone involved,” said Shimomura. “I am excited to be able to collaborate with Abbey Road Studios for this performance and to share the music of Final Fantasy XV with everyone. I hope that music and videogame fans around the world can tune-in and join me for this incredible experience.”
Last week, Square announced that Final Fantasy XV had been pushed back two months to November 29.
